Company and Objectives
The Costing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cost calculation and quotation process for athletic footwear brands. This role involves direct engagement with brand clients for pricing negotiations, coordinating cross-functional teams, and continuously improving internal costing workflows.
Job Description
1. Review and validate cost calculations and quotation sheets for athletic footwear brands, ensuring the accuracy(Material, Labour, Overhead & Profit).
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for brand clients, leading price negotiations and commercial discussions.
3. Coordinate team workflows, monitor quotation timelines, and ensure on-time delivery of all quotations.
4. Manage and lead the costing team; liaise with Development, Procurement, and Industrial Engineering (IE) departments to ensure smooth internal communication and alignment.
5. Leverage professional experience to optimize and refine the costing and quotation process; support team training and development.
6. Take on tasks assigned by senior management and actively contribute to the implementation of group-level projects and initiatives.
Requirements
1. High school diploma or above in any field.
2. At least 6 years of experience in footwear costing management.
3. Good command of both English and Chinese, able to handle discussion with clients independently.
4. In-depth knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes and cost structures; experience in athletic footwear costing is an advantage.
