The Development Deputy Manager is responsible for overseeing the footwear development process, ensuring samples are developed accurately and delivered on time. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages development schedules, maintains BOM accuracy, ensures sample quality, supports the transition to mass production, and serves as the primary contact for brand customers.
Job Description
• Supervise and guide the product development team, establish development timelines, maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), and ensure samples are produced accurately and shipped on schedule.
• Coordinate all development-related activities, closely monitor sample progress, and ensure sample quality meets customer and company standards.
• Review, approve, and hand over production confirmation samples to ensure a smooth transition into mass production.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned brand customers, respond to customer requests, resolve technical and development issues, and coordinate customer visits.
• Plan and organize regular training programs to enhance the technical capabilities, skills, and overall performance of the development team.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or above in any field
• Minimum 5 years of development experience in the athletic footwear industry.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
