This leadership role is responsible for steering the Footwear Product Creation Center. You will guide the team in crafting and delivering groundbreaking sports footwear that brings the company's vision to life and serves the varied demands of our brand customer. Armed with strategic foresight, leadership, and a deep enthusiasm for emerging trends and technologies, you will be a key architect in defining the next chapter of the footwear sector.
Job Description
- Direct a multi-disciplinary group comprising developers, technical experts, and the sampling unit, orchestrating the complete product journey from initial concept to final reality.
- Partner closely with essential partners—including design teams, marketing, brand, vendors and technical specialists—to fulfill product goals and maintain brand strategy coherence.
- Supervise the development of design briefs, concept sketches, prototypes, and final samples, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks and brand identity standards.
- Remain at the cutting edge by tracking novel technologies, alternative materials, and advanced production methods to champion innovation and secure a competitive advantage.
- Manage the product creation calendar and resource allocation to achieve on-time delivery while upholding cost efficiency.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by refining development workflows, simplifying operational processes, and spearheading digital transformation to boost overall productivity.
Requirements
- Degree and above qualifications.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in footwear creation, including a demonstrated history of guiding teams and successfully launching innovative products.
- Deep knowledge of footwear fundamentals, materials, construction techniques, manufacturing operations, and product lifecycle management.
- Robust leadership and communication capabilities, with proficiency in both English and Chinese.
- A strategic, results-driven thinker who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
