Job Description
- Oversee manufacturing operations across the company’s production facilities in China and SE Asia, covering factory production, quality systems, compliance standards, industrial engineering, sampling, warehousing, financial oversight, and regulatory adherence.
- Partner with site leadership teams to drive on-time delivery and consistent product quality, fostering a performance-driven production culture.
- Develop and implement operational plans that align regional manufacturing capabilities with the company’s annual business objectives.
- Establish measurable short-term performance targets for production-related functions and support departmental heads in achieving goals related to quality, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines.
- Champion change initiatives by working closely with site-based Continuous Improvement leaders and guiding production teams through process enhancements.
- Track and evaluate the progress and impact of continuous improvement programs across all manufacturing locations.
- Direct manufacturing activities to ensure efficient utilization of resources and the delivery of high-quality products within approved timelines and budget.
- Review and analyze manufacturing costs at each production site, providing insights, control measures, and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Merchandising teams to optimize capacity planning and maximize factory utilization.
- Report to the Production Director on the performance of production operations and coordinate with the Finance Director on financial and budget matters.
Requirements
- Diploma and above qualifications.
- 10+ years of experience in the apparel manufacturing industry, including a minimum of 5 years in management role.
- Leadership capability with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams effectively through delegation, coaching, and performance management.
- Strong communication skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin.
- Willingness to travel to cover multiple production sites.
