Company and Objectives

The Embroidery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production and quality of embroidered designs, ensuring that all projects are completed accurately and efficiently. This role involves supervising embroidery staff, managing production schedules, and ensuring that all embroidery work meets company standards for quality, design, and deadlines. The Supervisor coordinates between departments — including Design, Production, and Quality Control — and works closely with clients to understand and deliver on their embroidery requirements.

Job Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the embroidery department, ensuring all production goals, deadlines, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Supervise and manage production workers, fostering a positive, motivated, and high-performance work environment.
• Mentor and develop embroidery operators through ongoing training and support, driving productivity and continuous skill growth.
• Review and inspect embroidered items against customer specifications and quality standards, ensuring all output meets approved requirements.
• Ensure the proper operation, upkeep, and routine maintenance of embroidery machines and associated equipment; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Oversee the general maintenance and organisation of the production facility.
• Monitor and manage inventory of supplies — including threads, fabrics, needles, and other embroidery materials — and place replenishment orders as required.
• Serve as a key point of coordination between the Design, Production, and Quality Control departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in embroidery operations in garment manufacturing.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience within a garment or textile production environment.
• Solid knowledge of embroidery machinery, techniques, and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with working to the standards required by global brands.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating across departments and interfacing with clients.
