Company and Objectives
Production Factory Manager shall take full ownership of operations across a 30-line garment facility. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is accountable for keeping production running smoothly, upholding quality standards, hitting delivery commitments, and ensuring the factory meets all safety and labour requirements.
Job Description
Operations & Production
• Plan and oversee daily production activities, ensuring output targets are consistently met, efficiency is maximized, and bottlenecks are quickly resolved. Coordinate closely with production planning and merchandising to keep schedules and delivery commitments aligned.
Quality Standards
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and drive the factory toward a zero-defect standard of output.
Team Leadership
• Manage and develop supervisors and line operators, deliver ongoing training, and ensure all workforce practices comply with applicable labour laws.
Cost & Process Optimization
• Identify opportunities to cut waste, analyse production data to spot inefficiencies, and continuously refine workflows for better output.
Compliance & Workplace Safety
• Maintain full compliance with BSCI, WRAP, and ISO standards, and ensure the facility operates as a safe working environment at all times.
Reporting & Records
• Monitor key performance indicators, deliver regular updates to senior management, and keep accurate production and inventory records.
Requirements
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in garment manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Solid leadership, production planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Deep knowledge with garment production processes and the machinery involved.
• Good command of English, and Chinese fluency is a strong plus.
