The Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving productivity, managing costs, ensuring product quality, and meeting international compliance standards.
Job Description
- Define and execute operational strategies aimed at improving production output, efficiency, and overall factory performance.
- Review and optimize manufacturing workflows to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Cost management to ensure spending remains aligned with approved budgets.
- Partner with production, quality, sourcing, and planning teams to improve cost efficiency and operational alignment.
- Develop and enhance QA systems across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and certifications, including ISO 9001, Oeko-Tex, and relevant labor regulations.
- Track, analyze, and report key operational metrics related to productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Build workforce capability through training and development programs.
- Oversee sourcing and procurement for raw materials and components to support uninterrupted production.
- Champion continuous improvement programs and operational best practices.
- Lead, coach, and manage the operations team to achieve performance objectives.
Requirements
- College and above education in any discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in garment manufacturing, experience in intimate apparel or activewear is an advantage.
- Solid experience in optimizing production processes, cost management, quality systems, and driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvements.
- Practical experience with international compliance and labor standards, familiar with industry certifications such as ISO 9001 and Oeko-Tex.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese.
