Company and Objectives
We are seeking a detail-oriented, and hands-on Financial Controller with 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, and listed company financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, with strong analytical skills to support factory cost accounting reviews, process improvements, and timely financial consolidation.
Job Description
Costing & Manufacturing Finance:
- Review factory cost accounting methods and practice, including material, labor, and overhead cost reviews.
- Work closely with factory teams to monitor and optimize production costs.
- Conduct variance analysis (standard vs. actual costs) and recommend corrective actions.
Financial Reporting & Consolidation:
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly/quarterly/yearly financial closing for the manufacturing division.
- Support consolidation of accounts in compliance with listed company requirements.
- Assist in audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.
Process Improvement & Controls:
- Analyze financial processes and implement efficiency improvements.
- Strengthen internal controls related to inventory, procurement, and production costs.
- Provide insights to enhance profitability and cost-saving initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with local factory managers to align financial and operational goals.
- Support management in strategic financial reviews and presentations.
- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and finance teams.
Requirements
- Professional Qualification: ACCA and above qualifications.
- 8-10 years of accounting/finance experience in manufacturing sector and listed company reporting, strong expertise in cost accounting standards.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
- Strong communicator with the ability to work across offices and departments.
