The Product Engineering Deputy Manager is responsible for leading the product engineering process from development through commercialization. The role coordinates internal and external stakeholders, manages engineering timelines, provides technical guidance throughout sample development, and ensures a smooth transfer of approved products into mass production while serving as the primary technical contact for brand customers.
Job Description
• Receive customer product information, coordinate internally to establish engineering and development timelines, and allocate workload effectively across the team.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to track sample development and trial production progress, while provide technical recommendations throughout the development process.
• Lead the technology transfer of new styles to manufacturing, ensure successful trial production quality, and support a smooth transition into mass production.
• Manage departmental work progress and provide full support to product development and mass production teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned brand customers, respond to customer requirements, resolve technical issues, and coordinate customer visits.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or above in any field.
• Minimum 5 years of product development or engineering experience in the sportswear/athletic shoes space.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in both English and Chinese.
