
Company and Objectives
The employer a vertically integrated apparel manufacturer with operations. This position is responsible for driving quality assurance, social compliance, and operational standards across factories located in three countries within the region. It will focus on strengthening factory audit performance, harmonizing quality systems, and ensuring compliance with international standards and customer requirements.
Job Description
• Lead and monitor factory-wide quality assurance and compliance initiatives across manufacturing facilities.
• Develop, enhance, and enforce internal compliance frameworks, policies, and operating procedures in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
• Partner with factory management teams to align and standardize SOPs, quality benchmarks, and operational practices across all locations.
• Collaborate closely with textile mill QA teams to ensure fabric quality consistency before shipment to garment production facilities.
• Review customer audit findings, identify risk areas, and coordinate corrective action plans (CAP) with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Oversee and maintain certifications and audit programs, including ISO standards and customer compliance assessments, with the objective of achieving top-tier audit results.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to social compliance, chemical management, workplace ethics, and supply chain transparency.
• Prepare periodic management reports highlighting factory quality metrics, compliance performance, gaps, and recommended improvement actions.
• Ensure group code of conduct requirements are consistently implemented across factories and approved subcontractors.
Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of experience in apparel manufacturing quality systems and compliance management.
• Solid understanding of international compliance frameworks and audit standards such as WRAP, BSCI, CTPAT, LABS, chemical compliance, and social responsibility requirements.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across factory locations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex compliance matters effectively.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Southeast Asia as required.
