We are a prominent footwear manufacturer with an established track record supplying to globally recognised sports and lifestyle brands. In this pivotal role, the Quality Assurance Manager will take full ownership of factory quality operations, driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Job Description
• Oversee end-to-end quality control across factory operations, conduct process audits, and develop targeted improvement plans to elevate production standards.
• Design and implement comprehensive quality control frameworks that ensure consistent adherence to both internal benchmarks and customer-specific requirements.
• Perform systematic process audits to assess compliance with SOPs and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Investigate customer complaints thoroughly — determine root causes, drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and deliver clear, structured feedback to customers on resolution plans and outcomes.
• Manage the quality evaluation of new products and prototypes, tracking and resolving emerging quality concerns throughout the development cycle.
• Maintain rigorous quality oversight on the production floor; coach and mentor production teams on quality best practices and standards.
• Spearhead customer audit engagements, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of any quality findings or concerns identified during audits.
Requirements
• At least 3 years of hands-on quality management experience within the footwear industry, including direct exposure to global footwear brands and their quality requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with a solid command of both English and Chinese, enabling effective and professional engagement with global brand partners.
• A strong sense of accountability and ownership, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act decisively and independently when required.
• Collaborative in nature, with the interpersonal skills to work effectively across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
